Free Sketch-up – Zebrano Box

This is the free SketchUp file for my small zebrano watch box — a simple woodworking project built around clean proportions, continuous grain, and a few careful details.

The box was made from zebrano, with the lid cut from the same glued-up body so the grain continues around the piece. The inside is lined with walnut, with a soft cushion for the watch, and a small bubinga pull added to make the lid easier to use.

It’s a small project, but that’s exactly the point. The build is not about making the biggest or most complicated thing in the shop. It’s about showing how a simple object can still feel intentional when the details are considered.

This SketchUp file is meant as a starting point for your own version. You can follow the proportions closely, change the dimensions, use different woods, or adapt the inside layout depending on what you want to store.

Tools required (typical)
